Today we have a professional from the medical field Dr Trupti Thakare owner of Manasvi speech & hearing clinic in kalyan east. Dr Trupti is an Audiologist & speech language pathologist. She has been contributing in this field for 9 years.As a student she had a clear vision of getting into medicine. Different hearing & speech related problems are diagnosed at manasvi clinic. Audiometry tests are conducted for newborn infants to an adult, as per the requirement the aid is prescribed to the patient.Dr Trupti shows us some of the hearing aids they prescribe at manasvi. Pocket model,Digital ear aids,Bluetooth ear aid,ear protective device to minimize the effect of excess noise from the surroundings. Different therapies like Voice therapy & speech therapy for kids with different syndromes, also for singers in order to prep their voice speech therapy is suggested. Sessions conducted are one to one, each of 45 mins twice in a week. Dr says that contacting the doctors at the right time helps in speedy recovery of the patient. She keeps herself involved in gaining knowledge by attending various doctor seminars & talks. She says that her work has built confidence in her. In covid everything was closed but sessions of few children were going online.
