SUCCESS STORY OF THE FOOD HOUSE

From being a housewife to starting her own business and establishing a brand in Mumbai, Mrs. Kavita Keshav Golande has come a long way. Hailing from Mumbai, this entrepreneur had big dreams and the gist to achieve them. She had a passion for cooking and art to gain compliments through her special kitchen skills. Bestowed with compliments and the idea of doing something more in this life, The Food House originated.

The Food House, established 5 years before, is a place you can rely on the festive dishes. Right from Diwali sweets to kitty party and special biryani orders, you can contact this place for all your needs. Not only Mrs. Golande but the entire family is devoted and looks forward to establishing the brand all over the country. With such a support system form her husband and daughter, she is sureto succeed in her future plan of opening a lunch home to showcase the delicacies.

When asked how did it all start, Ms. Kavita replied with a touching yet emotional and successful story. Her first step towards the journey was an exhibition stall in Shivaji Park, Dadar. The exhibition lasted for 3 days and so the stalls. People loved her food and cooking styles, which garnered her word to mouth publicity, and now many know about the Food House.

Success is not only the thing she got from her first exhibition experiences, but also got a taste of all the challenges that may come her way. Travelling was one of them as she stays in Navi Mumbai and had to travel around an hour or two to reach her destination. Another challenge that paved as an obstacle in her business was laying hands on the Food License. Mrs. Golande and her family had to face many issues to even get the most easily available license in today’s world. This shows that only the journey can’t hold all the importance, your determination matters too.

When asked Ms. Kavita about the reason for success as per her, she calmly replies that her family is the ultimate support system. Other things to give credit are good quality food, consistency and commitment to the business.
She also relays the same message as her Guru Shri. Waman Rao Pai,

"Tumhi ho apne jeewan ke shilpakar"

It translates to ‘you yourself holds your destiny, so act wisely and mold it properly’.
